I'm a grown up, and I my dad has never bought me a car.
That said? Still ridiculous when your lifestyle would be hugely complicated by your car. Which is my case.

I had the money, and wouldn't feel right making my parents buy me a car, but he said I couldn't buy anything RHD, so no Aristo and no R32.

I had to live in Quebec...the only place in Canada that banned RHD cars for a idiotic study that they created. I'll never get a chance to get a Cappuccino, a Az-1, Honda Beat again like I could ages ago (unless someone sells theirs). Hell I've sit in a Beat and a Cappuccino and they were surprisingly spacious and cheap to buy! My friend (back then) and I came in our pants when the importer started a R32 GTR in front of us. I didn't even have a chance at seeing a R34 in my area...this saddens me.
